Mark Morales has spent the last decade focused entirely on the practice of criminal law. Mark is a Williamson County native who began his career as an Assistant District Attorney. Due to his reputation as a trial lawyer, Mark made a remarkably fast rise to become a felony prosecutor. He has worked with FBI agents and the Texas Rangers on the murder cases he handled; which included a conviction in a high-profile murder case in which no weapon was found. In fact, he has been the lead trial lawyer in cases ranging from Murder, Sexual Assault, Drug offenses, and Assault family violence. In addition, as a prosecutor and defense attorney Mark has worked on thousands of DWI cases. Also, in order to provide the best defense for his clients, he has undergone the same training and certification that police officers have in Field Sobriety Testing. In 2003, Mark opened his own private law practice, where he earned a reputation as one of the 'go-to' lawyers in the County. In 2005, Mark was entrusted by the 368th felony District Court to defend a local man accused of murder. After fighting the state to a standstill on the first trial, the state later dismissed the Murder charge. Mark has gone on to have tremendous success at trial and has even had two clients found Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. Since becoming a defense attorney, he has personally defended over a thousand people accused of Felony and Misdemeanor cases in Williamson County where he has worked closely with the judges and prosecutors. Mark's philosophy is simple...to treat everyone like family and to defend them like family. His secret to success is realizing what clients have at stake when they have been charged with a crime. Always keeping that in mind, Mark never stops believing in his clients as he confidently and zealously fights for them. With over 700 felony and misdemeanor cases dismissed, his results reflect his efforts. Now every person who retains our firm is able to receive the benefit of Mark's tireless efforts, unique ability, and reputation as a criminal lawyer.
